ROW | Voyageurs Grab Double Silver at Trent

The Voyageurs rowing team competed at the Head of the Trent in Peterborough over the weekend and returned home with a pair of silver medals.

Charles Alexander led the charge on the men's side, powering his way to a silver medal.  After leaving the gate as the second last boat in the men's single, Alexander weaved his way through traffic to finish the race with the second best time, less than three seconds behind the race winner from Trent.

Hayley Chase earned herself a silver medal in the women's single.  The first boat out of the gate, Chase was able to avoid any traffic the entirety of the course, finishing with a time six seconds behind the race winner from Trent.

Adam Arthurs raced in the men's lightweight single and crossed the line in 11th place while the duo of Alexander and Arthurs finished in 6th in the men's double.

The team are next on the water for the Brock Invitational on Oct. 6th.
